Dr. Trebell was in solo practice, and no one is taking over for her. There is no one available to provide a re-referral for any patients you might wish to see in follow-up, or to continue to follow. However, we have been advised by MSP that there is a procedure for dealing with the situation where a referral may have been made to a specialist but not recorded properly in the MSP system. If you would like details of this procedure, please contact us. Her fax machine has been disconnected, and her phone line will also be disconnected shortly.
Please do not send further copies of consultation reports, or courtesy copies of other clinical documents, to Dr. Trebell’s office. Her patients must each find a new family physician. There are several clinics on the North Shore accepting new patients at the moment. If you believe that any of the patients you shared with Dr. Trebell are vulnerable and might need assistance in finding a new family physician, please contact us.
